His Table

His Table is an all-volunteer mission to feed and clothe the poor, needy and homeless in the Bellflower area of Los Angeles.

His Table feeds around 120 people (including 30 to 40 children) and provides needed clothing. Saturday mornings start with providing coffee and pastries and ends with a wholesome hot lunch made completely of fresh meat and vegetables.

His Table is run solely on donations from churches, individuals and local businesses such as St. Moritz Bakery (Lomita, CA) and Panera Bread (Torrance, CA) who provide the pastries and breads. Aside from food, sometimes the need is filled by advice on where to turn for help or just providing a comfortable place where one feels welcomed and making some small talk over coffee. The volunteers at His Table have always felt blessed in this service to the poor. Many have come to know the Lord through this ministry.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a support group where you can get comfort and encouragement for people who have lost their loved ones.  GriefShare is on Monday nights from 7:00-9:00pm, and it ends December 12, 2011.
